1. What is Combined Bachelor & Master Degree Program?
: For students who wish to study(master or Master & PhD combined program) in general graduate school(including academic research program for professional graduate school), the program grants benefits of 1) exemption from bachelor graduation thesis, 2) pre-registration of graduate courses(available to shorten a semester in graduate school), 3) exemption from graduate school entrance screening and 4) scholarship for the bachelor program’s final semester.
2. Benefits
(1) Pre-registration for graduate courses (Master & Ph.D. common courses) with dual credit admission.
- If decided to do so, students may register up to maximum 6 credits (9 credits for academic research program of professional graduate school) in Master & Ph.D. common courses of their desired graduate program (Credits are admitted as a bachelor general core credit, while for different majors, it will be a bachelor general elective credit)
- These acquired credits may be admitted as graduate school credits (core credit) to up to 6 credits (up to 9 credits for academic research program of professional graduate school), after entering graduate school
- For a master degree seeking student, when the above 6 credits (9 credits for academic research program of professional graduate school) are admitted, it is possible to reduce the semester requirements by 1 semester (Note that through the Master & Ph.D. Combined Program, the Master and Ph.D program can be completed in 3 years)
- Note that for graduate school international courses acquired as a bachelor, the international course requirement may only be for the bachelor program, and graduate school requirements must be acquired after entering graduate school.
(2) Bachelor’s degree graduation thesis Exemption
(3) Exemption from graduate school entrance screening (Note that you are required to turn-in admissions material on a pre-determined date- notice will be provided)
(4) Bachelor & Master Combine Degree Scholarship for the final semester(Note that some students of low scores may be subject to fail)
3. Application Requirement
(1) Early graduation track student: As a student entering the 7th-semester in 2016 spring, and is eligible for early graduation in August 2016, with an average GPA of over 3.5 till 2015 fall semester
(2) Regular graduation track student: As a student entering the 8th-semester in 2016 spring semester, eligible for graduation in August 2016, with an average GPA of over 3.0 till 2015 fall semester
(※ Note that when a student entering the final semester is selected for a Master & Ph.D. Combined Track Scholarship, the student will automatically be cleared for the Bachelor & Master Scholarship for the returning semester with no additional registration needed, and will be eligible for the above ‘2. Benefits’, and receive the Master & Ph.D. Combined Track Scholarship)
4. Application Process
(1) Application period: 2015. Dec. 7(Mon) ~ Dec. 16(Fri)

(4) Result announcement: Mid-January 2016 (by applied administration office)
